PHU MY 3 SPECIALIZED INDUSTRIAL PARK WELCOMES THE DELEGATION FROM THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND ECONOMICS – NATIONAL ECONOMICS UNIVERSITY

To strengthen ties between universities and businesses and to move toward training a high-quality workforce for enterprises in the Park, on 15 October 2026, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company (TBPM) welcomed a delegation from the School of Trade and International Economics (STIE), National Economics University (NEU), to Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (PM3 SIP). During the visit, the two sides signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation, opening the way to long-term collaboration between the Park and the university in training, internships and recruitment.

The university was represented by Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi, Dean of the Business School and Director of the School of Trade and International Economics; Dr. Dinh Le Hai Ha, Deputy Director of STIE; and Dr. Nguyen Bich Ngoc, International Program Coordinator. On the TBPM side, the company’s leadership, together with representatives of the Marketing and Customer Service departments, welcomed the delegation.

During the discussion session, the two sides exchanged views on recruitment needs, cooperation programs for student training and internships, and the practical requirements and workforce standards of enterprises. Direct engagement between the university and businesses helps align training more closely with the real needs of factories, while giving students the chance to experience the working environment right at the Park.

At the close of the discussion, TBPM and the university signed a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reflecting the two sides’ shared commitment to building a strategic partnership aimed at training a high-quality workforce that meets the needs of enterprises investing and operating at PM3 SIP. On the basis of the MOU, the two sides will continue working together to carry out specific training, internship and recruitment activities in the period ahead.

Through its “One-Stop Service”, PM3 SIP stands alongside investors in every aspect, from investment and construction procedures to project operation. Among these, support for workforce connection is a matter of particular concern to the Board of Management: by proactively linking enterprises with reputable training institutions such as STIE-NEU, Phu My 3 helps investors access a suitable labor pool, contributing to smooth and efficient factory operations.

Alongside serving the needs of investors, PM3 aspires to a higher purpose: contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and creating added value for the region. Training a high-quality workforce, and creating more opportunities for study, internships and employment for students and workers, is also part of the Park’s sustainable development strategy under ESG standards, particularly in terms of its social impact and community development.

Through this partnership with STIE-NEU, PM3 hopes to establish another effective channel connecting the university with the business community in the Park, supporting the continued growth of PM3 SIP in the period ahead.
