Since the first industrial park in the Province was established in 1996 (Dong Xuyen Industrial Park), up to now, the
whole province has 15 Industrial Parks with a total area of 8,802 ha.
Established 3 to 5 years later than other Industrial Parks in the region, However if considering the scale criteria,
BR-VT belongs to the group of leading localities in the whole country about Industrial Park development.

These days, Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (Phu My Town) is quickly completing the infrastructure of phase 1
according to the approved plan.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi, General Director of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, the investor of Phu My 3 Specialized
Industrial Park, said that Phu My 3 Intensive Industrial Park is one of two model Industrial Park projects of the whole
country, in cooperate agreement and development was signed between Vietnam and Japan in November 2011.
The project is also part of the "Local Economic Development Initiative Program" of Japan International Cooperation
Agency - JICA and the BR-VT provincial authorities supported to develop it into a model Industrial Park.
Up to now, Phase 1 of Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park has reached the occupancy rate of 54%, with 19 projects
licensed to invest on a total area of 150 ha.
“At present, Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park has completed and put into use high-class internal road system,
wastewater treatment factory with capacity of 9,000m3 / day and night, with the first class A wastewater treatment
standard in BR-VT province.”

Industrial Park has completed and put into operation the BIDV transaction office; Conference Office, One-stop Office to
support and accompany with customers throughout the process of investing, building and operating the project. Also is a
bridge between investors and local authorities, ensuring smooth production processes and simple administrative
procedures.
The mechanism "one door – in place", the non-tariff area and utility centers in the Specialized Industrial Park have met
the demand of "soft infrastructure" for investors.
Not only has Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, at present, most of the Industrial Parks in the province are invested
in infrastructure, while ensuring utilities to help secondary businesses meet essential conditions to produce the
business.
In Industrial Parks, there are not only factories, but also services for life and production services to serve factories
and enterprises.
With these Industrial Parks, the acreage rate of production workshops will be reduced, but the ratio of trees, trade,
services, life, even houses, entertainment areas will be increased.

According to experts' assessment, BR-VT has great advantages for developing Industrial Parks thanks to its strategic
geographical location and especially convenient transport connections. Especially in the area of Cai Mep - Thi Vai
deep-water port system.
Most of Industrial Parks established which located adjacent to the major rivers, It is convenient to transport goods by
waterway such as Dong Xuyen Industrial Park (Vung Tau City) located close to the Dinh River, which is suitable for the
development of a port system from 10,000 tons or less.
The remaining Industrial Parks are located in Phu My town, next to the Thi Vai - Cai Mep river system has capable of
welcom the ships with a tonnage up to 200,000 tons.

Parks to benefit from the port system to reduce transportation costs, upgrade the competitiveness in business
