In order to strengthen the connection between the university and enterprises, while promoting cooperation in training, internships, and recruitment to support the human resource needs of enterprises in the Industrial Park, on August 26, 2026, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company (TBPM) coordinated with the Faculty of Marine Economics & Logistics of Ba Ria - Vung Tau University (BVU) to organize a working and field survey program at Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (PM3 SIP).

PM3 SIP provides professional “One-Stop” services, not only supporting enterprises during the investment and operation process at the Industrial Park but also accompanying them in needs related to production and business activities, including human resource cnnection and training. Phu My 3 proactively connects enterprises with educational institutions to help them access asuitable labor force, while creating opportunities for students to learn about the actual working environment, participate in internships, and find employment after graduation.

During this program, TBPM and BVU discussed the orientation of cooperation between the university and enterprises, while connecting BVU with enterprises operating in the Industrial Park to understand their recruitment needs and human resource requirements. This is also the first step for both sides to continue perfecting the cooperation content and moving towards signing an MOU in the near future.

At the event, the Company's Board of Directors was very honored to welcome the BVU Delegation led directly by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang - Rector of the university, with the participation of Faculty leaders and leading experts in the logistics field.

During the working session, TBPM introduced an overview of PM3 SIP, its infrastructure system, enterprise support services, the orientation for developing an Eco-Industrial Park, and activities geared towards sustainable development. The two sides also discussed the need for connection between the university and enterprises, especially in the fields of logistics, mechanics, engineering, and occupations serving production and business activities at the Industrial Park. Strengthening connections with educational institutions, developing human resources, and creating job opportunities for workers is also in line with the Industrial Park's ESG orientation, particularly in the social and community development aspects.

Specific cooperation contents between BVU and TBPM will continue to be discussed and agreed upon by both sides in the coming time, including activities related to training, internships, recruitment, advanced skills training, and coordination between the university and enterprises in the Industrial Park.

Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park connects BVU with Ashton – exploring logistics human resource needs

One of the practical activities of the program was Phu My 3 connecting the BVU delegation to visit and work with Ashton Furniture Consolidation at PM3 SIP. Through the working session, the university had the opportunity to directly learn about the enterprise's logistics activities, employee requirements, and recruitment needs in the near future.

At the Bonded Warehouse of Ashton Furniture Consolidation - a leading US furniture corporation currently serving export activities to the US and over 76 countries, Mr. Robert Simpson - Operations Director of the Phu My Branch, directly discussed with the delegation the enterprise's activities and human resource needs.

According to Ashton, phase 1 is currently exporting about 1,500 containers per month. The warehouse is being constructed and completing phase 2; once completed, the capacity is expected to increase to about 3,000 containers per month. With the expanding scale of operations, the demand for human resources, especially in the logistics field, will also rise significantly.

Through the practical visit and discussion, BVU gained more information about the human resource needs and job requirements at the enterprise. Ashton also highly appreciated the connection from PM3 SIP and will continue to work with BVU on opportunities to accept student interns and recruit workers in the future.

Surveying Phu My Inland Port and Warehouse – understanding operations and human resource needs in the internal logistics system

 Continuing the program, the delegation conducted a field survey at the Phu My Global Supply Chain Center. From a strategic perspective, this is the core utility subdivision of the Phu My 3 ecosystem, acting as an effective “extended arm”, directly resonating with the trading advantages of the Cai Mep - Thi Vai international deep-water port cluster.

The core highlight of the center is the Phu My Inland Port (with a scale of 38 hectares) invested by TBPM. This item is not only a strategic launching pad to perfect the integrated internal logistics network but also helps multinational corporations elevate their global connectivity capacity, optimize profit margins, and thoroughly reduce operating costs.

At the same time, the Delegation also visited the Phu My Warehouse system invested and operated by TBPM. The warehouse system covering an area of 8 hectares (with a large capacity of over 54,000 CBM) is being efficiently operated by the Company and is expected to expand by another 10 hectares by 2027. This on-site storage infrastructure is a comprehensive solution helping customers optimize cargo circulation, maintain the continuity of the value chain, and minimize time-to-market.

Through the survey activities, BVU gained a more practical perspective on job positions and human resource needs in the fields of logistics, mechanics, engineering, and operations. These are also the fields where the Phu My Inland Port and Warehouse system itself has recruitment needs, thereby opening up more opportunities for PM3 SIP and BVU to coordinate in connecting human resources in the coming time.

From the discussions and practical results of the program, PM3 SIP and BVU will continue working towards signing an MOU on cooperation between the university and the enterprise. Through the MOU, the two sides aim to strengthen the connection between BVU and enterprises in the Industrial Park, expanding cooperation opportunities in training, internships, recruitment, and skills development for workers.

For Phu My 3, partnering with BVU not only aims to meet the human resource needs of units invested and operated by TBPM but also aims to support enterprises and clients operating in the Industrial Park in accessing a suitable workforce. PM3 SIP will continue to play a connecting role between the university and enterprises, based on the actual needs of each enterprise and industry.

This is also part of the "One-Stop-Service" orientation of PM3 SIP. Besides supporting investors during the process of exploring, implementing, and operating projects, Phu My 3 wishes to accompany enterprises in practical needs arising during their operations, including human resource connection, training, and other support services.
