Otsuka Thang Nutrition Co. Ltd held the ground breaking ceremony of the very first Pocari Sweat Factory in Vietnam at Phu My 3 SIP supported by Obayashi Vietnam Corporation. The land size is 50,000 m2, and the total investment capital is about 96 million USD. They plan to start the operation in 2025 Q1–2.

Mr. Yuasa, the managing director of Otsuka Thang Nutrition said in his speech that when he started working in Vietnam in 2014, and almost no one knew Pocari Sweat at the time. Through their huge efforts, Pocari Sweat has been growing strongly in the past few years and has become the drink that will be needed by Vietnamese society.  Their sales became double in 2022 compared to the previous year.
