MR. TRAN HONG HA - DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER VISITED PHU MY 3 SPECIALIZED INDUSTRIAL PARK

After attending the groundbreaking ceremony of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project and Phuoc An bridge, on the morning of June 18th, Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister, leaders of many central ministries and leaders of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province visited PM3 SIP (Phu My Town).

PM3 SIP is only about 2km from Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port cluster with the high-quality utility infrastructure, professional One - stop service, meeting the conditions of the eco-industrial park according to regulations.

Ms. Nguyen Thao Nhi, Chairwoman and General Director of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, the infrastructure investor of PM3 SIP said that this industrial park is an attractive place to develop upstream industry of basic materials for the Southern Key Economic Region as well as downstream of post-petrochemical industries. It is expected that the investment capital rate after filling the industrial park will reach about 8-9 million USD/hectare of land for lease to implement investment projects.

At the meeting, Tran Hong Ha - Deputy Prime Minister suggested that PM3 SIP should have a green development roadmap, increase the use of renewable energy to approach and attract investment from large corporations around the world. Increase competitiveness with countries in the region and the world, contributing to sustainable development with a focus on environmental protection, towards reducing CO2 emissions to zero according to global development trends.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi also reported to the Deputy Prime Minister and leaders of central ministries about the Gates Tower worker dormitory project, meeting the housing needs for 10,000 workers to create a healthy and stable living environment for workers working here, attracting labor resources to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha noted that PM3 SIP needs to carefully consider environmental conditions to ensure health issues for workers living and working here.
