Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Maruyama Shinji, Chairman and General Director of Showa Sangyo International Vietnam Co., Ltd., stated that the launch of the new facility represents an important step in the company’s journey to provide comprehensive food ingredient solutions in the Vietnamese market. Rather than supplying individual ingredients alone, the company directly develops complete product solutions—from texture to flavor—to create greater value for partners across the food industry.

Mr. Maruyama Shinji, Chairman and General Director of Showa Sangyo International Vietnam Co., Ltd., delivered remarks at the ceremony.
According to company representatives, the factory at Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park will become Showa Sangyo’s key Tempura flour production hub in ASEAN, serving the Vietnamese market while also targeting exports to neighboring countries. During the initial phase, the company will prioritize domestic market development, particularly within the B2B segment, including restaurant chains, seafood processors, meat processors, and the bakery industry.
At the event, Mr. Hideyuki Tsukagoshi, Representative Director, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Showa Sangyo Co., Ltd., noted that March 2026 marks the Group’s 90th anniversary, underscoring its long-term vision for sustainable growth over the next century. Within this strategy, Vietnam has been identified as one of the company’s key strategic markets.

Mr. Hideyuki Tsukagoshi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Showa Sangyo, delivered remarks at the event.
Mr. Tsukagoshi further emphasized that establishing operations in Vietnam not only marks an important first step in strengthening Showa Sangyo’s presence in the Vietnamese market, but also serves as a strategic foundation for expanding operations across Asia and reaching global markets, including Europe and North America.
With more than 60 years of expertise in grain processing technology since launching the world’s first Tempura flour product in 1960, Showa Sangyo continues to reinforce its commitment to developing grain-based solutions by combining advanced technologies, Japanese quality management systems, and deep insights into local market demands.

Vietnam has been identified by Showa Sangyo as one of the company’s priority markets in its ASEAN expansion strategy.
Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park extends its congratulations on the successful inauguration of Showa Sangyo’s new manufacturing facility and wishes the company continued success in Vietnam and across the ASEAN region.
