On October 12, the Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (PM3 SIP) - developed by Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company - had the great honor of welcoming the delegation attending the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, led by Mr. Nguyen Văn Tho, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh People's Committee, to visit and work at PM3 SIP.

Welcoming the Delegation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, the investor of PM3 Industrial Park, introduced an overview of the development orientation and outstanding achievements of the project.

""Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park is the only specialized industrial park in Vietnam, planned and developed according to the model of a model industrial park towards ecology, industrial symbiosis and circular economy. We aim to build PM3 into a green, smart industrial center, contributing to promoting sustainable development and enhancing national competitiveness." Ms. Nhi shared.

She also shared:
"The project was approved by the Government in September 2024. After more than a decade of efforts, from a mangrove swamp, we have formed a modern, synchronous industrial park, with international standard infrastructure and a wastewater treatment system meeting A standards, demonstrating the investor's strong commitment to the goal of sustainable development."

Up to now, Phu My 3 Industrial Park has attracted nearly 6 billion USD in investment capital, expected to reach more than 7 billion USD by 2077. In particular, PM3 Industrial Park has completed the application for approval and recognition as the first ecological industrial park in Vietnam. This is an important turning point affirming the investor's commitment to promoting a sustainable industrial model.

"The industries in Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park are mostly heavy industry, chemical industry, and basic materials. Therefore, achieving an ecological industrial park is a huge challenge. We are committed to doing our best to pioneer in promoting the ecological industrial model, towards sustainable development, contributing to socio-economic development, worthy of the expectations of the Party Committee and the city government as well as domestic and foreign investors", Ms. Nhi emphasized.

Following Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi's sharing about Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, Mr. Ta Quoc Bao - Deputy General Director of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, gave a speech emphasizing the results achieved in the process of operating the Industrial Park as well as recommendations to continue promoting the achievements and implementing strategic goals.

Mr. Bao said that currently, Phu My 3 Industrial Park has completed the application for recognition as the first ecological industrial park in Vietnam and is submitting it to the competent authority for consideration. He recommended that the City and ministries and branches continue to pay attention and create conditions for the industrial park to be officially recognized soon, contributing to promoting the green and circular industrial development model.

In addition, Mr. Bao emphasized that the industrial park has now filled more than 80% of the industrial land area, demonstrating the strong attraction of domestic and foreign investors. Therefore, the Company proposed to study and plan to expand an additional 650 hectares adjacent to it, creating a clean land fund ready to welcome a new wave of investment, continuing to maintain its role as a driving force for local development.

In terms of social security, Mr. Bao also presented a proposal to expand the scope of housing rental for workers, not only limited to the Phu My 3 Industrial Park but also to neighboring industrial parks in the Phu My industrial - port area, to meet the living conditions and needs of workers to stabilize their lives. Finally, he informed that the Company is requesting investment policy for a 27-hole golf course project in the utility service area, aiming to complete the infrastructure ecosystem, improve service quality and investment attractiveness of Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - Permanent Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, expressed his impression and high appreciation of the development model of Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park. He emphasized that the development orientation of Phu My 3 - especially the policy of selective investment attraction, prioritizing clean, green and sustainable industry - is completely consistent with the strategic vision of Ho Chi Minh City in the new period.

He also acknowledged the efforts of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company in persistently investing, building synchronous infrastructure and clearly defining a sustainable development strategy, and at the same time suggested that the Industrial Park continue to promote its pioneering role, becoming a model of ecological industrial park and green - smart industrial center in the Southern key economic region.

Regarding the recommendations of Mr. Ta Quoc Bao, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho said that the City will consider and fully acknowledge the proposals of enterprises, and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to study appropriate support mechanisms, creating favorable conditions for Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park.

On the same morning, the delegation visited and worked at Gemalink International Port - one of the most modern deep-water ports in Vietnam, located in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port cluster, creating a complete port - logistics ecosystem associated with Phu My 3 Industrial Park - a place with outstanding advantages, only 2 km from Cai Mep Thi Vai deep-water port.

This is also the only port, and one of 19 ports in the world capable of receiving container ships with a capacity of up to 250,000 DWT equivalent to 24,000 TEU.

Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park has a favorable location near Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water seaport, Long Son petrochemical complex, PP production plant and Hyosung LPG underground storage, especially very close to PVGas liquid cargo port warehouse and the port warehouse system of Cai Mep Ha Logistics area.

With its existing advantages, Phu My 3 has become an attractive industrial development area that not only attracts industries using LNG/LPG raw materials but can also attract many industries producing plastics, chemicals, basic materials, post-petrochemical manufacturing industries, industries using liquid fuels and high-tech industries, semiconductor technology.
With this advantage, Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park has developed the Phu My Global Supply Chain Center, including a comprehensive logistics ecosystem with Phu My Dry Port of 38 hectares including: 6 modern ports, depots and smart container yards, providing multimodal logistics services. Along with Phu My 3 Warehouse of 250,000 m² - this is a multifunctional warehouse logistics complex with a system including: chemical warehouse, bonded warehouse, general warehouse and especially the first CFS warehouse in the largest deep-water port cluster in Vietnam.
