GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF HIROCHIKU VIETNAM INDUSTRIAL FURNACE AND FURNACE COMPONENTS FACTORY

On the morning of August 27, Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (PM3 SIP) was honored to join the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of the factory for manufacturing industrial furnaces and furnace components of Hirochiku Asia Vietnam. With a total investment of 7 million USD and an area of 2 hectares, the project marks the strategic expansion of Hirochiku Corporation (Japan) in the Southeast Asian market.

The factory's products are refractory materials for high-temperature furnaces that can and accompanying equipment. The products are manufactured synchronously, aiming to export to Japan as well as other international markets. Hirochiku expects to shorten delivery time, save costs, reduce manpower and ensure stable product quality. The factory is expected to be put into trial operation from Q3 2026 to Q1 2027 and officially put into production from Q2 2027.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nakabayashi Yasushi shared that the reason for choosing Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park as the place to build the factory is because the long-term land lease policy of over 50 years, which provides confidence and stability for the company’s long-term development strategy. In addition, the strategic location near the international seaport helps facilitate trade connections, especially in the fields of Logistics and import and export. Hirochiku believes that PM3 SIP will become a solid foundation, accompanying Hirochiku Asia Vietnam on its expansion journey in the Vietnamese market.

He also noted that Hirochiku had decided to expand into the Vietnamese market 2 years ago and established a legal entity in August 2024. The factory is expected to be on trial operation from the third quarter of 2026 to the first quarter of 2027 and officially go into production from the second quarter of 2027.

Along side with infrastructure investment, Hirochiku Asia Vietnam also focuses on human resource development strategy. Currently, the company has sent many Vietnamese interns to Japan for intensive training. At the same time, programs to recruit talented students from universities in Vietnam are also being implemented. “When the factory is put into operation, we will continue to recruit and train a team of skilled workers locally,” Mr. Yasushi affirmed.
