Vietnam Will Be NVIDIA's "Second Home"

On December 5, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, announced a significant cooperation agreement between the Vietnamese Government and NVIDIA in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research and development. This marks a major step in affirming Vietnam's position in high-tech industries, especially AI.

Jensen Huang shared that NVIDIA is committed to making Vietnam its "second home" by establishing a world-class AI Research and Development Center in the country. The center will attract top talent and AI engineers, helping Vietnam develop its AI ecosystem and foster innovation. NVIDIA will also invest in training programs, scholarships, and support for AI startups in Vietnam.

Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized that this agreement demonstrates the Vietnamese government's strong commitment to catching up with and leading in AI, creating a favorable environment for high-tech businesses. He also mentioned that the cooperation between Vietnam and NVIDIA will accelerate the development of the AI industry in Vietnam and attract global tech investors.

NVIDIA's CEO highlighted three key factors to promote AI in Vietnam: building AI infrastructure, developing a skilled AI workforce, and supporting AI startups. He believes Vietnam has immense potential to become a technology leader, not only due to its rich culture but also through the development of a strong AI ecosystem.
